THE ACCORD

For this project, I was assigned the Tragedy "King Lear" to translate into a newspaper, designing the front page and an interior spread, and utilizing the traditional components of newspaper design. I came up with the name, the masthead logo, and the overall branding of the newspaper. The play itself is all about relationships, and is full of drama. I wanted the design to to be sleek and sophisticated... as if the New York Times was meeting Vogue.
